A Mind Forever Voyaging

A Mind Forever Voyaging is a different kind of Infocom game, which involves very little puzzle solving and a lot of exploration. You play the role of an artificial intelligence who is assigned the task of exploring a simulation. The simulation is based on a plan to improve the city you "live" in. By viewing and recording parts of it, you can determine whether or not the plan is going to work. At first it seems that it will, but as you experience further simulations the future becomes progressively grim. The end of the game is the only part that requires any puzzle solving, and after finally adjusting to pure exploration, this requires a quick change of mind-sets. Survive and you'll be rewarded with a very welcome happy ending.

There are a lot of locations to visit in the different simulation years. This solution only has you record the minimal amount of events and locations needed to get through the game.

Part II

Note: You need to spend 5 hours in 2051 before a simulation for 2061 will be available. In 2061 you will need to spend 6 hours and 40 minutes. In 2071 you will need to spend 10 hrs. You can either kill this time by walking around and exploring or by waiting. You can wait for 2 hour intervals.

When waiting for Perelman to return to his office and you have been awake for over seven hours you can also kill time in sleep mode.

At some time you will be asked to take some inkblot tests in Perelman's office. Respond to the cards any way you like.
